Terms & Conditions
1. About Us
These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed with Clover & Collar (“we”, “us”, “our”) through https://cloverandcollar.com/ (the “Website”).
Clover & Collar is an online-only retailer of pet accessories. We do not operate a physical store.
2. Contract Formation
2.1 When you place an order on our website, this constitutes an offer to purchase goods subject to these Terms.
2.2 You will receive an order confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your order. This does not constitute acceptance of your order.
2.3 A legally binding contract is formed only when your order has been accepted and dispatched by us.
2.4 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order prior to dispatch, including in cases of pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected misuse.
3. Prices & Payment
3.1 All prices are shown in UK Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
3.2 Delivery charges are clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.
3.3 Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders already accepted.
3.4 Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering using the payment methods
displayed on the Website
4. Product Information & Availability
4.1 We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images and pricing are accurate. However, images are for illustrative purposes only.
4.2 All products are subject to availability. If an item is unavailable after you place an order, we will inform you and issue a refund for that item.
4.3 We do not operate a back-order system and will not supply substitute items without your consent.
5. Delivery
5.1 Goods will be delivered to the address you provide at checkout.
5.2 Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed.
5.3 Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery of the goods to your address.
5.4 Ownership of the goods passes to you once we have received full payment.
6. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)
This section applies only if you are a consumer under UK law
6.1 You have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason.
6.2 The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you receive the goods.
6.3 To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision in writing or by email before the cancellation period expires.
6.4 You must return the goods to us within 14 days of notifying us of cancellation.
6.5 You are responsible for return postage costs unless the goods are faulty or incorrect.
6.6 We may make a deduction from your refund for any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the goods.
7. Refunds
7.1 Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.
7.2 We will process refunds within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence of return, whichever is sooner.
7.3 Delivery charges will be refunded up to the cost of our standard delivery option.
8. Exclusions from the Right to Cancel
The right to cancel does not apply to:
- Personalised or custom-made items
- Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for hygiene reasons once unsealed
9. Faulty, Damaged or Misdescribed Goods
9.1 Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these Terms.
9.2 If goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund as required by law.
9.3 Please notify us as soon as reasonably possible, providing your order number and details of the issue.
10. Returns Procedure
10.1 Returned items must be securely packaged to prevent damage in transit.
10.2 We recommend obtaining proof of postage, as you remain responsible for returned goods until we receive them.
10.3 Return delivery costs will be refunded only where goods are faulty, damaged or
incorrect.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law
11.2 Subject to the above, our total liability shall be limited to the value of the goods
purchased and delivery charges paid.
12. Website Use
12.1 You may use the Website for lawful purposes only.
12.2 You must not misuse the Website, introduce malicious material, or attempt unauthorised access.
13. Intellectual Property
ll Website content, including text, images, logos and designs, is owned by or licensed to Clover & Collar and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce or use any content without prior written permission.
14. Privacy
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be effective once published on the Website.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
17. Pet Accessory Disclaimer
At Clover & Collar, the safety and comfort of your pet are important to us. It is the responsibility of the customer/pet owner to ensure that any accessory purchased is appropriate for their pet, correctly fitted, and used safely. Clover & Collar cannot be held liable for products that are incorrectly fitted or unsuitable for a particular pet. Please note that sizing can vary between individual pets, even within the same breed. If you need guidance on sizing, please contact us at cloverandcollar@gmail.com prior to purchase.
All pet accessories are subject to normal wear and tear over time. Owners should regularly inspect products to ensure they remain in good condition and safe for continued use. Any item showing signs of damage, excessive wear, or deterioration should be removed from use immediately.
Clover & Collar products are intended for general everyday use and are suitable for most pets. However, pets that pull heavily, chew, scratch excessively, or display behavioural issues may cause increased strain on accessories, which can reduce the product’s lifespan. We do not provide refunds or replacements for items that have been damaged through misuse, inappropriate use, or damage caused directly by the pet.
Our Harnesses, Leads, and Collars are designed for their intended purpose and selected ranges may undergo strength and quality testing where applicable. Please note that certain fashion or textured collections — including teddy, embroidered, floral, or other decorative styles — are not classified as heavy-duty products. These accessories are designed primarily with aesthetics and lighter everyday use in mind and may not be suitable for larger, stronger breeds or pets that pull excessively. Clover & Collar accepts no responsibility for damage resulting from biting, chewing, scratching, or excessive force applied by the pet.
For best care results, we recommend hand washing all accessories at a maximum temperature of 30°C.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clover & Collar accepts no liability for any injury, loss, damage, or misuse relating to products purchased from us.
We reserve the right to amend, update, or modify our policies, disclaimers, and product information at any time without prior notice.
